Certificants who recertify on or after that date pay a $50 recertification application processing fee that now covers a two year cycle rather than one year, and must also complete a Recertification Competency Assessment and, going forward, 12 hours of professional development within the cycle. A $50 late fee applies if a certificant submits an approvable recertification application or additional documentation during the 30 day reinstatement period after their certification lapses. A $45 fee applies for insufficient funds or a returned check on any BACB payment.
